The Light of the Time Keeper - WIP

Book1:
Tarazed is a human with a strange gift to attract plants, raised on the planet of Cerronia. She is one of a handful of human refugees who make the planet their home. Her dad likes to tinker, and the two have become famous in their tiny system for being the only individuals capable of creating and maintaining the highly sought-after Time Keepers--devices built to track the time left before a life-changing event.

When Tara's father passes away, he leaves everything to her, including the business--and a Time-Keeper with her name engraved in the gleaming gold, counting the seconds.

With her alien companion--a Cerronian native named Delphi--the two scour the scrapyards looking for anything they can use to build new Time-Keepers. The two stumble upon an ancient android while picking through a new shipment of scrap, and after many sleepless nights they manage to reawaken the robot--only for it to immediately attempt to kill Tarazed.

Driven by the mystery presented by the android, and desire to reconnect with the scattered remnants of humanity, Tarazed and Delphi set out into the universe to track down the developers of this unusual tech, and the people Tara longs to be amongst.

All the while, her Time-Keeper continues counting down... To what, she is determined to find out.

This is a series of multiple novels, all told from different perspectives and encompassing an entire universe of stories, all about the nature of humanity.
